ABOUT ME

I can't seem to sit still, but this suits me perfectly. I chose an academic life and am currently in graduate school in Iceland training in physics. My work has taken me all over the world, including analyzing radar data in Peru, observing a supernova from an observatory in Arizona, drilling ice cores on Icelandic glaciers, and serving as the resident astrophysicist for Badlands National Park. I enjoys hands-on science and am passionate about public education. For me, traveling is a way to immerse myself in nature, take a break from the grad grind, and keep learning.

This website is part photo journal, part travel journal, part invitation to check out some scientific stuff I've been thinking about. Explore here for as long as you like. Thanks for dropping by.

xoxo, B
